THE Clyde Vet Group Equine Hospital in Lanark have maintained their equine hopistal status after an inspection by Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
This is the only private practice in Scotland with this status. "We were awarded this as a reflection of the quality of our work, our facilities and procedures.
The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary initiative to accredit veterinary practices in the UK," said a spokesperson.
Currently about 65% of practices has signed up to the scheme. Through setting standards and carrying out regular inspections, the Scheme promotes and maintains the highest standards of veterinary care.
