THE NATIVE Pony Winter Fair will be held today (Saturday) in Lanark Market, with Highland, Shetland and Clydesdales all putting on a show.
The Clydesdales will be placed by Ian Johnston, Kirkton Farm, Bothkennar, Falkirk; the Highland ponies by Miss AS Mitchell, Backdales, Denny, Stirlingshire; and the Shetlands by JN Blackburn, Newstead, Newton Reigny, Penrith.
Judging for all breeds will commence at 11.00am, however a new class for novice handlers for the Clydesdales will get the ball rolling at 10.45am.
