Banff couple Mike and Leona Foote have been busy in their workshop building a traction engine and threshing mill which will be auctioned to raise funds for Banff Parish Church. This is the third model the couple have donated to raise money for the church. The previous models, a Land Rover and a Combine Harvester both raised a three figure sum.
This year the model comprises of two motorised parts, the engine and the threshing mill.
The models, which will be auctioned as one lot, can be seen in action on the church Facebook Page (Banff and King Edward Parish Churches) and bids can be left by private message or emailed to janetsimpson@banffparishchurchofscotland.co.uk or by telephoning the church office on 818211. Remember, remember, final bids must be placed by 11.30am on Saturday, November 5.
