Lindsey Hunter and her team at Get Knotted, in Kelso, are a talented and creative team of wedding experts, specialising in venue styling, wedding planning, prop hire and wedding flowers with exceptional ideas and inspiration to make your wedding day unforgettable.

Many couples lead hectic lifestyles, so when it comes to planning their wedding, the amount that needs to be done, organised, and arranged, it can be overwhelming. These days, couples are looking for one company that they can liaise with to organise everything from the flowers and prop hire to the overall styling – a kind of 'pop-up wedding design service', which means they have fewer suppliers to liaise with. The added bonus is that wedding planners have good relationships with other suppliers and as they use them regularly, they can get discounts or special rates, saving money for the couple.

When you are planning your wedding, you will no doubt have thousands of exciting ideas and a list as long as your arm of things to arrange and organise. All of this can be quite overwhelming, so how do you ensure everything is as perfect as you ever dreamed? Use a wedding stylist or planner.

Lindsey moved from Northamptonshire to the Scottish Borders in 2002 where her enthusiasm and passion for weddings shone in her first job as a wedding planner in a local hotel. In only a short space of time, she successfully grew the sale of weddings at the venue tenfold, which is when she realised her talents and decided to go it alone. Lindsey started working off working with an exquisite stately home and luxurious 5* privately owned country house. She expanded on her talents introducing floral styling and prop hire into her offering. She now as an Aladdin’s cave full of wonderfully stylish, on-trend, vintage and up cycled props to add fantastic touches to your wedding day.

A planner/stylist is there to listen to your ideas and suggest things you might not have thought of. They will put together a proposal of your wish list and help to make adjustments or compromises to fit within your budget. Quite often, clients underestimate the time and manpower required, which is where a stylist and their team can take away all the worry and stress leaving you to sit back, relax and enjoy your day.
