Due to the continued success of The Royal Highland Education Trust (RHET) Perth and Kinross the committee are on the hunt for new volunteers. Chairperson, Emily Grant has invited all current and potential volunteers to join the committee at a ‘Volunteer’s Night’ being held on Thursday, January 26 at 7.30pm at Stewart Tower Dairies.

Emily said: “Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation and we rely on them to host farm visits, help at events and visit classrooms to share their knowledge with the pupils of Perth and Kinross. With continued interest from teachers in all that RHET has to offer we are looking to expand our volunteer numbers to cope with demand.”

The evening aims to raise awareness of the work of RHET within Perth and Kinross, and showcase some of the resources available to be used both in schools and on farms. There will also be the opportunity to find out how you can become more involved with RHET, as well as meeting current volunteers and members of the committee.

Please contact project co-ordinator Alix Ritchie on perthkinross@rhet.org for more information or if you wish to attend so appropriate catering arrangements can be made.
