FOR THE second year in a row, Graham Morrison’s Deveronvale flock, from Inchbruich, Banff, took the overall award at the North of Scotland Texel flock competition, judged recently by Jonnie Campbell, Bardnaclavan, Thurso.

The same flock also collected the prize for the best pen of ewe lambs, while top stock ram went to Rodney Blackhall’s Knock Macallan, from Milton of Durris, Banchory, jointly owned with Archie and John MacGregor, Allanfauld, Kilsyth. Reserve stock ram was Langside New Approch, from Willie and Carole Ingram, Logie Durno, Pitcaple.
