ROBERT and Jean Trotter’s double Royal Highland Show champion, Ormiston Mains Amelie, from Ormiston Mains, at Tranent, remained unbeaten for another show season, after she rose to the top of the 129-entry strong City of Aberdeen Clydesdale Show, at Duthie Park, on Saturday.
Reserve overall and male champion was John Anderon, of Drummygar, Mains, Carmyllie, by Arbroath, with Redcastle Brelee Majestic, which had stood reserve Cawdor champion at this year’s National Stallion Show.
John and Jacqueline Adamson, of Glenside Farm, Plean, won the reserve female title with Hawkhill katy, which has amassed seven championship titles in Scotland and the north of England this show season.
Reserve male was David Walker and Beverley Brown, of Glacantray, Cawdor, Nairn, with the two-year-old colt, Tulloes Special Blend.
