The first National All Breeds Dairy show at Stoneleigh, next week, looks set to open with a bang with a record entry of just short of 500 head expected.
Holstein UK, has reported that the event is expected to be a genuine first in scale for the dairy breeding industry and draw visitors with an interest in every breed, with more than 100 different exhibitors representing six dairy breeds.
There are classes for Ayrshires, Brown Swiss, Guernseys, Holsteins, Jerseys and Shorthorns, and, with trade stand bookings at the show’s maximum capacity there’ll be a plenty to see and do throughout the two-day event.
Notably, a record 13 livestock exhibitors from Scotland have entered along with 13 from Wales with the remainder from English counties from Cornwall to Cumbria.

Should farm livestock have access to water during transit?
