A NOVEL copper source is now being used in Harbro supplements.
Cu-tek is a blend of copper sources, which has a new slow release copper, allowing several actions in the body.
Some copper sources are soluble and there to mop up the antagonists iron and molybdenum, which bond to copper making it unavailable, while other copper sources have been treated in a way which enables them to pass safely through the rumen and into the small intestine where they are absorbed.
The result is more efficient copper absorption which has a positive effect on the health of livestock, particularly this season where poor cow condition has had a knock-on effect on fertility.
