This year’s Scottish National Fat Stock Club’s LiveScot returns to its two-day event, this year to take place on Friday and Saturday – November 24 and 25 – at Lanark Auction Market.

Entries include 157 pedigree calves and 78 pedigree lambs to be showcased on the Friday night, with LiveScot including 79 open beef cattle, 16 butchers cattle, 42 commercial calves, and just shy of 120 pairs of sheep – it is shaping up to be a big weekend.

“This show is a place where we can gather together as a community that is dedicated and committed to showcasing the best of farming. Following on from the success of previous years the show now includes pedigree calf and lamb classes on the Friday afternoon. We are also encouraged by the growth of the young farmers' section of the show,” said Scottish National Fat Stock Club chairman, Brian Harper.

“We are once again indebted to our sponsors as the show would not be possible without their financial commitment which we gratefully appreciate. Everyone is extremely important to us as we couldn’t have this show without you. I wish you all well and let’s make it another great show!”
