A new teat spray and dip to help manage the wear and tear of multiple milkings per day has been launched by Envirosystems.
Designed originally for robots, but suitable for all systems, EnviroCare Unique can be used pre- and post-milking.
Unique to the UK, it contains a human cosmetic ingredient from nipple cream used by breastfeeding mums. The proprietary formulation makes it a potent germ-killer, with natural skin conditioning and exfoliating properties for soft supple teats, according to Sally Russell from Envirosystems.
She says it leaves no sticky film that would attract soiling after milking. Spills and drips that enter drainage water are non-toxic and biodegradable.
