TWO new flagship wheeled loaders will be the centre-piece of TRP Scotland's stand at the Highland (Stand T 319).

Launched recently during the Giant brand's open day in the Netherlands, at the base of manufacturer, Tobroco Machines, the new loaders look well-suited to Scotland's mixed farming units.

The Giant V761T and Giant V761T Tele are more intelligent, comfortable and powerful that any others in the range. The 761-series is fitted with a 76hp Deutz engine, compliant with the stage IIIB (Tier 4 interim) norm.

TRP's Bill Beatson says the 761s feature plenty of hydraulic power, with the pump directly coupled to the engine, producing an 80 litre/min output. But, for heavier attachments, using 'high flow' hydraulic input, an optional load sensing system promising 150 litre/min and 250 bar hydraulic flow, can be added.

The load sensing system causes the machine to deliver power on demand-style operation, which results in better fuel efficiency. And an intelligent power management system results in optimal distribution of available engine power over the drive and work hydraulics.

An electronic flow-sharing function enables the user to constantly divide the hydraulic flow independently over different functions. A priority can also be given manually.

The loaders are compact and because of the CAN-bus communication system make for a comfortable, safe and easy working environment. Their eco-drive system runs the transmission at the optimal rpm - they are rated at a top speed of 35 kmh - while an up to date dashboard and computer show all the working information about the machine.

TRP says the flexibility of the design offers the chance to upgrade many features, including additional hydraulic options, climate control, a top end instrument panel and Giant's patented 'Stabilo' system.
