BELGIAN company, Joskin, has extended its range of Volumetra slurry spreaders with two new double and three triple-axle tankers.

First introduced in 2013 at Agritechnica, the range's name refers to its key element, the volumetric pump, which works in a different way to vacuum ones and is seen as a solution for thick slurry, long suction hoses or even large working widths, because of higher pressures and flows.

The new double-axle versions are 10,640 litres and 20,297 litres and the triple-axles ranges from 18,500 litres to 22,900 litres. Double-axle models are fitted with Joskin's Hydro-Tandem running gear and a free steering axle, with hydraulic locking device. A self steering system is available in option.

The new triple-axle models have Hydro-Tridem running gear plus a double hydraulic self steering system on the first and last axles, which allow turning movements when driving forward and backward. All have a self-supporting structure and the tank is on an integrated chassis welded to the running gear.

A standard hydraulic hitching suspension is bolted at the front. At the back, all have fixing points for a cultivator, injector or a spreading boom - and changes can be made easily and fairly quickly.

Front or side filling arms are available on all five new models. An option is the SimpleCut chopper which is useful when slurry contains a lot of straw.
