THREE NEW machines have been added to Kuhn's range of high horsepower power harrows – two are foldable HR machines and a new EL power tiller.
The foldable version are the HR 6040 R and HR 8040, of 6m and 8m working widths, with both folding up into within a 3.5m transport width.
Capable of working up to 100ha per day, both have an intelligent monitoring system which relays torque and oil temperature data back to the tractor cab so that the operator can closely scrutinise the machine’s operating parameters.
You will need at least 460hp tractors to power these and they are priced at £40,772 and £51,370, respectively.
Also new is Kuhn's EL 402 R folding power tiller of 6m, which needs a suited 400hp tractor – it retails at £48,950
