TWO YOUNG Scottish graduate apprentices have done well in the brand's latest round of apprentice awards.

Dillan Macaskill, of Frank Nicol Farm and Garden Machinery, which is based in Dingwall, won the accolade of ‘outstanding performance’ during training, and was joined on the roll of honour by his fellow graduate, Craig Gatherer, from ATV Services Scotland, which is based at Hollybush, near Ayr, with depots at Newton Stewart and Lochgilphead, at an awards ceremony at Donington Park Race Circuit.

They were awarded their certificates by managing director for Suzuki GB, Nobuo Suyama and director of Suzuki aftersales, Denis Houston.

Richard O’Brien, training manager for Suzuki, said: “Our three-year apprentice programme is a great way of helping young people into the industry, giving them a nationally recognised qualification and a great level of experience from both their dealerships and their time spent at our purpose built training centre in Doncaster.

"Dillan and Craig have each put in hours of hard work, in addition to their busy jobs, to gain these qualifications and we are delighted to have them joining the Suzuki family. They will become valuable members of their dealership teams.”
