EASIER servicing and a more rugged design to cope with the stresses and strains of baling silage are promised by the new RB125 and RB 125 Combi round balers from New Holland.

Their re-styled looks make them instantly recognisable from the older models and both feature the latest pick-up, as introduced on the Big Baler and belt balers. At 2.3 m, it is 300mm wider than the previous model and the five tine bars have double cam drive and adjustable suspension pick up efficiency.

Also adopted from the Big Baler range, are improved roller windguards to cope with heavy windrows and the new models also get new drop floor which is operated from the cab – its unique pivot design lowers the floor by 120mm at the front and 60 mm at the rear, making it easier and quicker to clear blockages, while the knives lower automatically when the drop floor is lowered.

Operators can manually select the option of operating with 10 knives or the full 20, switching from the two settings without having to stop for sharpening and as the bale nears completion, the knives can be retracted for the final layer, leaving a better surface for wrapping.

A new film wrap on the Roll Baler 125 Combi is unique to New Holland and has a positive hydraulic feed that can be set to pre-stretch the film for a tighter wrap which is also quicker due to a 20% higher wrapper speed. Automatic oiling and greasing are standard on

these machines and there's an adjustable drawbar.

Full ISOBUS connectivity is there and an option is the IntelliViewTM IV monitor.
