Kelso-based Bryce Scotland's Suma Profi XL has been added to its established range of post drivers.
The tractor-mounted model can fit on a front or rear linkage and features revised mast geometry for increased mast tilt angles and extra mast for larger hammers. Additional reach is provided by the patented side-shift, back-shift and quad-shift combination allowing easier access into awkward corners.
A mast jack leg is fitted as standard for mast support when at full reach and this is also used to support it when using the new upgraded rock-spike system. A new rock-spike system, has a patented hydraulic spike engagement and cradle arm with clam shell, floating head and emergency release.
The clam shell design allows any Bryce rockspike, round and square hole punchers to be easily interchanged adding to the machine's versatility.
Improved hydraulic engagement reduces operator fatigue and is a major contributor to health and safety, said the company's Jock Bryce
