UPGRADED KUHN SPRAYER DELIVERS SIMPLE, RELIABLE AND SAFE CROP PROTECTION

KUHN has upgraded its popular mounted sprayer, the Deltis 2 which is aimed at mixed farming and small-scale arable operations.

It features a number of improvements, including a lighter and stronger chassis, making it one of the lightest of its type on the market.

A new 1300 litre tank, with a double-slope deep sump, is aimed at improving performance on steep slopes and makes emptying and rinsing the tank easier than previously.

Two new sets of controls are available – the manually operated Manuset which has two manual wheel type valves, or the cab operated electronically controlled Diluset+ system.

There's a choice of steel or aluminium booms in widths from 15-24m, all of which make use of Kuhn’s parallelogram Optilist suspension system, which allows them to float during road transportation and operate better in the field.

A new chemical incorporation system, Optifiller, features a wide-necked filling port and the induction bowl can hold up to 42 litres and is operated via foot controls so that the operator does not need to bend down towards it when full of chemicals.

* The new sprayer will be launched in Scotland at this year'sRoyal Highland Show.
