LAND ROVER enthusiasts will be beating a path to Ingliston for the Scottish Land Rover Show, later this month.

Given the popularity of the brand to the farming industry, it should be a busy weekend on May 27 and 28 at the Royal Highland Showground. Due to the success of the 2016 inaugural event, the organisers have moved the date to the late May bank holiday and taken more room for exhibitors.

Looking further ahead, the event team behind it have also committed to next year’s show being again held in the countryside area of the showground. Camping will also be brought into the heart of the showground and will benefit from new showground toilet and showers.

Major manufacturer, retailers and hundreds of autojumblers will be bringing the best Land Rovers, parts and accessories to the show.

Hundreds of Land Rover owners club vehicles are expected, and organisers are promising plenty of main arena action, fun and games and evening entertainment.

One of the major success stories of the event is what’s called the ‘autojumble’ where Land Rover enthusiasts can search for that elusive spare part or view the latest branded accessories.

“New products and services will be on display from the biggest names in 4x4 as exhibitors from all over the UK bring their products to your doorstep,” said Tom Siddall, the event event director for Live Promotion Events.

“The show will give you the chance to speak with experts and ensure your Land Rover is fully equipped for whatever activity that you use it for.”

The main arena will deliver a non-stop programme throughout the two-day festival – ranging from cavalcades of club vehicles to technical advice and demonstrations from industry experts. The Scottish Land Rover Show 2017 is expected be the greatest gathering of all things green oval Scotland has ever seen, said the organisers.
