The Kompactor from Hi-Spec does what it says on the tinm - it squeezes up the load using its hydraulically-driven headboard
Hi-Spec Engineering's Kompactor trailer will be the main newcomer on its stand at the show. Famed for its vacuum slurry tankers and more recently its vertical auger diet feeders, the Kompactor K36 model on display is one of four in its push-out trailer range. A demount version is also available, that provide users with increased value and versatility by being able to swap the trailer body with a Hi-Spec vacuum tanker. The Kompactor has a hydraulically operated headboard, powered by a three-stage hydraulic ram, to compact material such as grass or maize silage – increasing the load carried by up to 80%
