Feeding, bedding, fertiliser and spraying will be the focus from Kuhn on its AgriScot stand this year

At the show, on November 15, at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh, will show off recently launched machines, as well as the latest Profile 13.1 CL trailed feed mixing wagon, its FB 3130 fixed chamber round baler, and mounted sprayer.

One re-designed machine for winter housing will be the Primor 3570 straw blower and feeder wagon, which has a 3.5m3 load capacity and is capable of handling a single 2m diameter bale, two 1.5m diameter bales, or big square bales up to 2.7m in length.

Fitted with Kuhn’s Polydrive system, it uses a hydraulically disengageable belt drive to power the independent turbine and 400 rpm feed rotor – enough to blow straw up to 18m. But it needs a tractor of just 50-70 hp to drive it.

Also on parade will be new twin-disc Axis 10.2 fertiliser spreaders which have increased hopper capacities, a redesigned chassis and a new LED rear lighting system. One of the bigger models, the Axis 40.2 M EMC has a 12-42m working width (up to 36m for granulated urea) and a hopper capacity of 3200 litres.

The series uses Kuhn's 'Electronic Mass Control' technology to control fertiliser flow and all machines in the range are equipped with the Varispread (VS) variable working width technology.
