IT LOOKS like an ideal wee scraper tractor, but Kubota's new L1361 compact utility tractor, promises much more than that.

The 37 hp machine is powered by a three-cylinder Kubota D1803-M-E2 engine, which can come with either a manual or three-range hydrostatic transmission, with a 38 litre capacity fuel tank making for a long working day.

The new L1361 is four-wheel-drive as standard with a live, continuous-running rear pto exclusively available on the HST model.

The tractor comes ready for a quick detach front loader, for quick changes between jobs and one of the choices for that is Kubota's new LA525 front loader, which has a curved boom design for plenty of strength.

The tractor's bevel gear front axle has been re-designed to deliver a tight turning radius, with full power transfer to the wheels at every steering angle. This gives better traction across all kinds of terrain.

Ergonomically, the L1361 has a design refresh, with an 'easy-in-and-out' operator deck and slanted front bonnet for greater field of vision when using the front loader.

* Kubota’s autonomous tractor, dubbed the ‘Agri Robo’, recently won the Spanish FIMA show's technical novelty award.

This has an integrated remote control system, allowing a user to monitor up to two autonomous Kubota tractors, saving time, money, and resources.

The management operations software was developed by Kubota, along with the Japanese company, Topcon, and the Kansas State University. Agri Robo combines the functions of existing tractors, such as the L-series, and delivers a previous accurate planning of its tasks using a combination of its sonar and scanner to spot and avoid any obstacles for maximum safety.
