FARMERS ARE being given the chance to own a new Zetor Proxima tractor, complete with TracLift front loader, for the equivalent of £100 a week or less.

That’s the offer being made by Zetor Finance to farmers and contractors signing up to its latest low-cost finance scheme before the end of April, 2010.

The finance deal is available through appointed Zetor UK dealers on all Zetor Proxima tractors ranging from the 68hp Proxima 65 up to the Proxima 95, rated at 99hp. These come with a heavy-duty, hydraulically-activated clutch, high-vis cab and optional synchro-shuttle transmission, the Proxima is viewed as an ideal loader tractor. That’s why a key inclusion in the finance is a matching TracLift 120 or 120SL front-end loader.

In all cases, finance is available up to a maximum of 50% of the ‘on-the-farm’ price of the selected tractor and loader combination, or the actual balance financed, whichever is the lower. The scheme requires 36 monthly payments at an annual flat rate of just 1.66%.

That means a top-of-the-range Zetor Proxima 95 tractor with TracLift 120SL loader – costing a total of £27,494 – could be had for 36 monthly payments of £400.88, the equivalent of £92.51 a week, assuming a balance financed of £13,747 after part-exchange and discount.
