SSANGYONG'S Korando pick-up has just been given added 'farmer appeal' courtesy of an increased tax-busting payload of 1050kg.
The latest Korando Sports load carrier has been fitted with uprated and progressive rear coil springs within its existing multi-link rear suspension set up, which makes it the only pick-up in the market to offer this car-like system, but still fit to handle the bigger payload.
For business users, this means the car is VAT reclaimable and the pick-up costs from £14,995 (ex VAT), and it comes with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty. It will also tow up to 2.7 tonnes.
Power is from the e-XDi diesel - a two-litre Euro 5 compliant motor producing 153 bhp. Its large, flat rear deck provides a Euro-pallet capable 2.04m² load area, with load deck liner and anchor points as standard.
