KEITH YFC dominated at the North Region tug-of-war eliminations at Cornhill Highland Games, last weekend, when the gents' and ladies' teams won their respective finals.
In the gents' competition, Grant Morrison, Jack Robertson, Bradley Robertson, Scott Inglis, Garry Morrison and Michael Stronach won their pull-off against Vale of Alford, while Caithness District’s A team finished third, with all three teams qualifying for the final at the Royal Highland Show.
Keith’s winning ladies' team of Isla French, Katie Whyte, Deryn Peterson, Zoe MacDonald, Louise McKenzie and Rachel Donald, which beat Udny JAC to the top spot – both will compete at the national final.
