STARS of the hit BBC series “This Farming Life” are set to be reunited off screen, with an appearance scheduled for this week’s Royal Highland Show.

The farming families will come together at 2.20pm on Friday, June 24 at the Quality Meat Scotland stand [598, avenue O] to be interviewed by presenter Bryan Burnett and answer questions from the public.

Head of communications at QMS, Carol McLaren said: “From traditional farming methods to cutting-edge technology, the documentary gave viewers a really valuable insight into the pride and passion of those who work in the Scottish farming industry.

“The series brought the hard work and commitment of farmers into the living rooms of millions of viewers who were able to share the ups and downs of livestock farming with the families involved.”

At 11.15 on Friday, QMS will also be hosting an “Audience with auctioneer Colin Slessor” who starred on BBC’s The Mart series, which is set to return to the screen in the months ahead.

Visitors to the QMS stand at the show on Saturday will also have the opportunity to ask questions to Joyce Campbell and the Armadale team, winners of the Scottish Sheep Farm of the Year, as well as the Watson family, winners of the QMS/AgriScot Scotch Beef Farm of the Year.
