HOMEWARD BOUND Christine Croal's new Clun Forest ewe lambs
After nearly 30 years, Clun Forest sheep are back in the Croal name!
Christine Croal, of Hollycroft, Rattray, Blairgowrie, Perth, was very excited this week to have bought these Clun Forest ewe lambs privately, to start her own wee flock, which will run alongside her pedigree Suffolks and commercial mules.
Her late father, John B Croal, had great success with the breed in the 80's, with many a show champion - including the Royal Highland Show champion in 1987.
