A MASTERCLASS in marketing and branding from Massey Ferguson’s Campbell Scott was part of packed itinerary for a group of 50 UK young farmers who visited MF’s European headquarters in Beauvais, France, this week.

As guests of the tractor giant for two days, delegates from the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs and National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs travelled to Beauvais tractor plant to see the global agricultural machinery company in action, exchange ideas on future policy and visit French college farms.

The 25 delegates from SAYFC came from clubs right across Scotland, with the trip organised by the associations Agri and Rural Affairs Committee, and co-led by Peter Moss of Orkney and David Barclay of Perthshire.

The following day, the party was hosted by the nearby L’ Institut Polytechnique LaSalle, a flagship institution for engineering focused on earth, life and environmental sciences, where delegates toured the facility’s livestock and arable farms.
