FAMILY MEMBERS of a farmer who has been missing since June this year have appealed for him to let them know that he is safe and well.

Andrew Green, 33, of Chorley, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, has been missing since June 22, and his aunt, Jan Booton, from Dumfriesshire, this week made another desperate plea for him to come home.

Mr Green left his house at around 8:50pm on the evening of June 22, after putting his two daughters, one aged 10 months, and one aged four, to bed. He claimed that he was going to do some jobs outside, but has not been seen since.

Two large scale searches have been carried out by police and by people who know Mr Green, but not one trace of him has been found. Mr Green is now known officially as a missing person.

Mrs Booton said: "It's been four months now since Andrew disappeared, and we miss him more every day. We just want to know that he is safe and well, his little girl asks about him everyday, and often goes outside to look for him. Nobody has any idea what may have happened to him.

"It could be that he wanted some space, and we are more than happy to allow him to have that, but we just want to know that he is safe. None of us are angry, we are just concerned and very sad."

Mrs Booton concluded: "Andrew, if you see this, or any other posters asking for your return, please just get in touch and let us know that you are ok."

West Mercia Police said that they are continuing to appeal for information about Andrew Green, and that he is still being treated as a high risk missing person, and police are remaining open minded as to his whereabouts.
