The National Farmers Union for Scotland held its annual general meeting at the Raddisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, yesterday, and today, and the results are in.
Andrew McCornick, of Dumfries, and former NFUS vice president, was elected into the position of president, which saw the end of Allan Bowie's two-year term at the top.
Moving into the vice president positions were Gary Mitchell, of Stranraer, and Martin Kennedy of Aberfeldy.
See the attached videos to watch some of the reactions on the day, and to hear what Nicola Sturgeon had to say about the farming sector.
