KILMAURS YFC topped the recent SAYFC West Region drama festival with their performance of 'Flushed'.
Held at the Stewarton Area Centre, the festival's winning team, and winners of the best set trophy, consisted of Zoë Wilson, Kim Erskine and Cara Gilbert, with Cara also going on to win an award for most promising actress.
Finishing in second place was Avondale YFC's Jennifer Bailie, Stuart Anderson, Gayle Allan and Janet Anderson with 'A new interest in life'. There was further celebration for Stuart and Jennifer when they were awarded the best actor and best actress titles.
Crossroads YFC's rendition of 'Gostforths fete', featuring Jane Strawhorn, Alison Hunter, Scott Anderson, Amy McCulloch and John Howie, finished in third place, and Scott was also deemed the best first time performer.
Taking the most promising actor award was James Hair from East Kilbride YFC.
