MORRISONS has agreed a new three-year contract with Arla Foods to provide its own-brand liquid milk, starting from March 2018.
The supermarket chain said that it was looking forward to working more closely with Arla's farmers on a range of sustainability and animal welfare measures.
As part of this deal, Morrisons is also committing to further growing its regional and local milk offering.
Head of Morrisons dairy trading, Steve Newbould, said: “We believe this agreement will be simpler for our business and will help to develop a sustainable dairy sector.”
