A POCKET-SIZED Facts and Figures card for the agriculture sector has been produced by the Scottish Government.

The 12-page leaflet brings together a wide range of information from the Government’s agriculture analysts, and serves as a handy reference for information on Scottish agriculture. It will be distributed free of charge at the ScotGov pavilion at The Royal Highland Show.

Also now available online is a spreadsheet containing a large number of tables of data, previously published in the annual Economic Report on Scottish Agriculture. That report has now moved to being produced every five years, but all the data is still being made available on the Government’s website.

Both documents were produced by independent statistical staff, free from any political interference, in accordance with professional standards set out in the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.

An electronic version of the Agriculture Facts and Figures card can be accessed at www.gov.scot/stats/bulletins/01281
