FROM a strong entry of Shetland ponies at Braco Show, it was Donna Lochtie's standard leader that won the overall Shetland title before going on to stand reserve supreme heavy horse.

The 11-year-old Rosermus of Transy daughter was on her first outing of the year, but is a previous female champion at the Highland, supreme championa t the Black Isle and champion at the Central Scotland Shetland Pony Group show. She's a good breeder too as her six-year-old daughter, Mawcarse Lady Dionne, also from Donna, was reserve standard.

Among the miniatures, a father and son duo from Alichbrae Shetlands were champion and reserve when brought out by Kirsty McKay. The 11-year-old Kerswell Montgomery, by Newpark Chieftain, has been lightly show as he's been concentrating on stud duties while his three-year-old son, Alichbrae Cassius, has done well as a junior.
