UEL MORTON is to join Scotbeef Ltd to take up a new role as development director for the group.
Mr Morton, formerly chief executive at Quality Meat Scotland for 11 years, will take up his position in August.
He said: “I am really looking forward to this new challenge; the red meat industry is hugely dynamic and I relish the opportunity to make a contribution to Scotland’s leading red meat processor."
Scotbeef CEO Robbie Galloway commented: “Uel brings a unique skill set to Scotbeef that will enable us not only to develop our opportunities, but also help us navigate some of the challenges our industry is going to face in the years ahead."
