A RECENT tractor run organised by NFU Scotland’s Highland Perthshire branch raised thousands for local charities, including The Royal Highland Education Trust, which was established to create the opportunity for every pupil in Scotland to learn about food, farming and the countryside.
A cheque for £1122 was presented to RHET's project co-ordinator for Perth and Kinross, Alix Ritchie, at the recent Aberfeldy Show
Alix said: “The committee are really grateful to be chosen as a recipient for the money raised at the tractor run. RHET Perth and Kinross relies entirely on fundraising and donations to allow it to continue to provide free on farm and in class education to 3-18 year olds across the region.”
