COWS coming home – a fold of 28 Highlanders, cows and calves, being led by their stock bull, Coinneach of Druimdearg, being led home to Kilchoan Estate for their annual checkover and cutting of the calves. The fold is truly ‘commercial’ with little in the way of feeding, and have a range of about six miles from Kilchoan up to the Loch and Dubh-lochain. They are fully tick acclimatised – and they have to be!
