SANDY WILKIE has retired, after 51 years’ service to the dairy industry,
Sandy was born on his family’s dairy farm and went on to develop the family business in Blantyre, before moving to Robert Wiseman Dairies in 1987, where he spent 25 years in various roles, including at director level. In 2012, Sandy joined Müller following its acquisition of Wiseman’s.
Most recently, Sandy has been supporting the 'milk&more' on line grocery shopping site, following Müller's decision to invest in the growth of that business.
Well respected within the industry, Sandy has received various awards for his work with a number of trade organisations across the dairy, farming, retail and food sectors, including the Dairy Council, Scottish Food Trade Association, Royal Highland Show and the Scottish Association of Young Farmers.
Müller directors Andrew McInnes and Patrick Mueller commented that Sandy had contributed significantly to their business and thanked him for his years of dedication.
