THIS YEAR East Fife JAC funded the bus for Primary 7 pupils from Greyfriars RC Primary School, St Andrews, to go to the Highland Show.

As their topic for the school term had been World War 1, they had been invited by the RHASS to organise a display for the show based on the mechanisation of farming equipment during that war. But the school could not afford to send the class to the show to see their work in place.

That is when East Fife members stepped in to fund the bus to allow the children to attend the show. During the show, some of East Fife JAC members met up with the class – and were even treated to strawberry tarts courtesy of Scotmid.
