NFU Scotland’s Forth and Clyde region hosted a visit by NFU England and Wales Deputy president, Minette Batters.
A tour of farms in the region started at Gryffewraes, near Houston, hosted by regional chairman,Willie Harper.
The group also joined Bobby Lennox at Shantron Farm, on the banks of Loch Lomond.
The farm visits highlighted the severe impact that poor summer and autumn weather is having on farms in the region, before Ms Batters’ completed her tour by addressing the region’s members at Stepps on the Brexit priorities for farmers in England and Wales.
