THE UK'S biggest show of farm machinery, LAMMA, is to move to Birmingham's NEC for its 2019 show.
Its owners said the event will continue to be free-to-attend event and remain on its proven and successful January timeline. The move to the NEC, in January 8 and 9, 2019, will provide an entirely indoor environment for the show, reducing some of the risk associated with winter weather.
Built on foundations laid by farmer organisers some 30 years ago – mainly to cater for farmers in the arable county of Lincoln – LAMMA has grown to be the largest show of farm machinery in the UK.
LAMMA 18 will be the last held at the East of England Showground, in Peterborough, on January 17-18. It will be its largest yet, with more than 900 exhibitors.
