HOLSTEIN UK has announced the appointment of Sue Cope as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing extensive knowledge and experience to the group.

Based at the group head office in Telford, Ms Cope has been promoted from managing director of Cattle Information Service (CIS) to CEO for the Holstein UK Group of Companies, which comprises Holstein UK, CIS and the National Bovine Data Centre.

Having worked for the group for over 20 years, Sue has a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of how each business operates. Brought up on a dairy farm in the Midlands, Sue has both a good knowledge of the dairy sector and industry links.

Ms Cope said: “I am privileged to be offered the opportunity to work with members, industry and colleagues to take the Society forward to meet the needs of the ever changing dairy and agricultural sector. I am looking forward to delivering the future strategy and exploring new opportunities for the Group of Companies and stakeholders.”
