BELLEVUE FARM, Blackwaterfoot, on the Isle of Arran, welcomed around 170 visitors to its Open Farm Sunday which was blessed with beautiful sunshine. Hosts Donald and Ailsa Currie had organised Highland calves, pigs, a sheepdog display, rabbits, chicks, animal face painting, vintage tractors, turkeys, a nature trail, pet lambs, a display of working farm machinery and tractor and trailer rides around the cows and sheep – even though this was the first OFS that they, or indeed the Isle of Arran, had held.
