TRACTOR drivers taking part in the recent Highland Perthshire branch of NFU Scotland's annual tractor road run raised nearly £3500, with donations still flooding in.
The collection of 27 tractors met in Blair Atholl before a tour round the grounds of Blair Castle and heading west to Kinloch Rannoch via Dalnacardoch and Calvine, with a picturesque lunch stop at Errochty Dam.
To mark John Deere's centenary year, Hamish Aitchison led the tour on his John Deere 1120, with Andrew McKerchar, bringing up the rear with his Valtra. Funds were raised for the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance, and Andrew himself was lifted by the ambulance following a serious wood harvester accident.
Drivers were tasked with guessing the total horsepower – which landed at 1759 – with tractors ranging from a 20hp old Grey Fergie to the 160hp Valtra.
