Winning the champion of champions accolade at a county show once is something to remember, but Sean Mitchell made it two years on the trot with his leading beef animal.

Having secured the beef inter-breed title, Sean went on to claim the supreme honours with his privately purchased Limousin heifer, Petteril Sugababe, an Ampertaine Foreman-sired two-year-old that couldn’t have had a more successful debut.

“She’s a very sweet heifer and I can’t fault her,” said the supreme judge, David Carr.
