Farmer owned co-operative First Milk announces 1ppl milk price increase
First Milk has recently publicised that its milk price will rise by 1p per litre for February 2024.
The change means the UK processor's milk price for a manufacturing standard litre will be 37ppl, with the member premium.
This announcement follows Arla declaring that their price for conventional and organic milk for this month will remain unchanged due to a 'stable' prospect.
Consequently, the UK manufacturing price for conventional and organic milk will be 39.18ppl and 46.50ppl respectively.
