East Young Farmers return to Perth Concert Hall for their annual Cabaret competition this year.

East chair, Jillian Kennedy led the night, which saw seven Young Farmers clubs compete in a close competition showcasing the best talent in the East Region. Clubs included, Strathmore JAC, Forfar JAC, Perthshire District, Bathgate JAC, East Fife JAC, Brechin JAC and Bell Baxter ADS.

Taking the top award on the night and the BP Farm Service Perpetual Trophy with 84 1/3 points out of a possible 100 was Bathgate JAC with ‘unnBEElievable’ produced by Kathryn Russell and Emma Inglis.

Coming in second was the team from East Fife JAC with their performance ‘Pink To Make The Tups Wink’ produced by Mairi and Finlay Ross, reaching a total 83/100.

Third place went to ‘Cruising Along’ from Perthshire District, produced by Ally Marshall and earning them 81 1/3 out of 100 points.

Ally Brunton from East Fife JAC received the trophy for the Best Individual Act outwith the winning team for his reenactment of ‘I’m Just Ken’, winning the Best Comedy Moment Award was ‘The Grannies’ by Reece Brown and Hannah Graham from Perthshire District.

The three judges Carolann Barrie, Joanne Hall, and Ewan Campbell, praised the teams for their hard work and dedication to their performances. A dance followed at Ego Nightclub attended by 300 members.
