Beef subs questioned

SCOTLAND'S BEEF farmers now have a new body to fight their corner in the shape of the Scottish Beef Association – the long-awaited marriage of the Scottish Beef Cattle Association and NBA Scotland.

At a meeting in Bridge of Allan on Monday, the new body's constitution and board was rubber-stamped, with former SBCA chairman Scott Henderson elected chairman, with two former NBA Scotland members, Jim Stewart and Neil McCorkindale, as his vice-chairman.
