Harnessing the horse

PEOPLE ARE realising the value of the working horses that once graced Scotland's farms, and there is renewed interest in the subject, according to British Horse Society development officer Helene Mauchlen, who recently organised a successful demonstration day at East Crieffvechter Farm, with the help of local ploughman, Alan Thomson of Tullichville, Aberfeldy.
