THERE have been new appointments to the Savills Scottish development team.
Bruce Patrick now takes up his role as Savills head of commercial and mixed use development in Scotland, having previously been a director in Savills investment team.
He will now be responsible for delivering strategic development projects across a variety of sectors from offices, retail and industrial to alternatives, such as student accommodation and hotels.
Assisting him will be Ebba Mowat, from Savills' Glasgow office, who has significant experience of working with key funders and developers in her previous role in Savills investment team.
Head of Savills in Scotland, Nick Penny, said: “Commercial and mixed use projects have been breathing life into cities across Scotland with ambitious approaches being taken within a wide range of sectors, from private developers to universities.
"Our commercial and residential development teams within Savills have increasingly been working closely together in order to maximise such opportunities for our clients in this new development environment.
"By launching this new service, Bruce is creating a fully joined-up team, incorporating planning, residential, investment and funding advice.
“This means Savills' commercial and mixed use team will fully integrate with our Scottish residential development team and our planning team, providing the entire spectrum of advice from inception to completion,” added Mr Penny.
